| Babies love to get close to mum and dad, so we have these lovely products to enable you to carry baby easily, without the backache! The Wilkinet baby sling is a comfortable and easy to use sling, suitable from birth. I have used this myself with my own babies, and when I tried another brand with my last, I appreciated just how good the Wilkinet had been! The wraparound style and straps make it infinitely adjustable, and very comfortable for baby and parent alike. Good for carrying babies for longer periods, and when you need to be "hands free"!
For the older baby, able to sit unaided, we have the Hippychick Hip seat. This product attaches simply around the waist and provides a "shelf" for baby to sit on. Unlike the Wilkinet sling, you won't be totally "hands free" with the Hip Seat, however Hippychick Hip Seats are a great invention for carrying babies who are old enough to sit and toddle, but can't go too far. Much less hassle than a buggy for short trips, and you get to have baby snuggled up against you too. Coming soon, and perhaps more suited to those who like to do extended "baby wearing" we have the new Papoozle from TotsLife - a versatile new infant carrier which is suitable for babies right up to around 35lbs, utilising a hip belt to help spread the load, and wide padded shoulder straps for comfort.
We have recently included Changing Bags on the website - now I must admit to being a bit fussy about changing bags - after having 4 children and far too many change bags I have a fair few expectations, and one of them is that they shouldn't cost silly money! Another is that they should be roomy enough for the cloth nappying family, with plenty of pockets. This has limited our range a little bit. I haven't included any really cheap bags as in my experience, they tend to fall apart after a few months use, making it a false economy. Likewise I've avoided the hideously expensive designer bags - to my mind there are far better things to spend your hard earned pennies on than a £200 changing bag! So for now you'll find a limited range of good quality bags that will do the job they're designed for, letting you worry about more important things.
