| Flat Nappies |
| Flat terry nappies (terry squares) and prefolds are an excellent nappy option. They are the cheapest type of cloth nappy; easiest to dry; the most versatile to use - you change the shape and size of a terry nappy to best suit your baby at each stage of his/her development, just by changing the way you fold it; and you control its absorbency by using, positioning and regulating the way you boost it. A range of suitable boosters is held in stock, check out the nappy boosters section.
If you are nervous about using pins, then you may want to consider nappy nippas – the modern alternative – no points, no sharp bits, no fuss. See the accessories section.
Detailed folding instructions are sent with all our terry squares, prefolds and muslins. If you need another copy, just drop me an e-mail with your name and address and whether it's terry folds or prefold instructions you need, and I'll pop one in the post. |

NEW! These are very luxurious, bamboo terry squares in a 60x60cm size, suitable from birth to potty. They stay super soft and will keep their shape well due to being bound at the edges. A note of caution, bamboo can lose it's ability to nippa if tumble dried, so we recommend that you air dry only, and wash at 40 degrees where possible.

No, I'm not kidding! We're so used to seeing muslins being used as burp cloths, dusters, wipes, and general mopping up cloths that we tend to forget that they are, in fact, nappies! Muslins are still the very best, most versatile - and least bulky nappy for a newborn baby.

Prefolds are widely used in the States and, I'm told, in Ireland. This is a straightforward 100% cotton rectangle which you simply fold into 3, like a letter going into an envelope. It's held in place with a wrap, so no need for complicated or sharp fastenings!

Popolini comes up trumps again, with these White and Natural colour Muslin squares, or as I like to call them, nappies. Yes, I’m serious, with a bit of folding and a wrap, they make a great new-born nappy. They won’t look bulky, even on a tiny baby.
