Tots Bots was established in 2000 by new parents Fiona & Magnus. Fiona wanted to use washable nappies and couldn't find anything she liked, so she made her own - designing something easy to use that Magnus could cope with. Other parents wanted some too, and so Tots Bots was born! I converted to washable nappies just around the time the first Tots Bots nappy was launched, and it was these nappies that really convinced me and my (then) reluctant husband to go for it.

Tots Bots remains a family run business, although they no longer make the nappies on the kitchen table! These days their impressive range is made at their own factory in Glasgow. Over the years, Tots Bots have become known for their innovations, bringing us bamboo, microfibre and even hybrid nappies, all easy to use and care for.

Tots Bots has been awarded the top rating in Ethical Consumer's buyers guide for nappies, with an ethic score of 16/20. The assessment includes categories such as climate change, human rights, habitats and resources, animal rights. Pampers by contrast came out bottom with a score of 0.5/20. Tots Bots also donate 1% of their profits to the British Heart Foundation, a charity close to the owners hearts after their 3rd child, Darach, was born with congential heart problems.

Tots Bots Bamboozle S-T-R-E-T-C-H - the popular Bamboozle nappies were updated in 2010 to improve drying time and fit, and are now made from knitted bamboo with a microfibre core. They also feature poppers on the front, enabling the size to be reduced where needed so the nappies will fit over a broader weight range. Tots Bots Bamboozle Stretchies are aplix fastening, and now also feature a removable booster (soaker) pad.

Tots Bots FlexiTots Nappy - a striking innovative creative hybrid nappy, the FlexiTot is constructed with bamboo next to the skin for comfort and absorbency, microfibre in the core for faster drying, and a polyester outer layer to allow fast drying while keeping the nappy more pleasant to handle for the parents. Aplix fastening. FlexiTots nappies now feature poppers on the front to allow the rise (height) of the FlexiTot to be reduced, so that the size 1 will fit on even tiny newborns, and the size 2 can be used from birth on most babies. Tots Bots Easyfit All in One Nappy - first launched in 2008 this nappy was an instant success, combining the convenience of the all in one nappy with the cost benefits of it being a birth to potty or "one size fits all" product. The 2010 Tots Bots Easyfit Nappy (or v.2) is available in plain white, or a choice of six colourful designs, and now features a combination of absorbent bamboo and fast drying microfibre.
