| Natural Crystal Deodorants |
| Crystal deodorants are amazing things! Most manufactured deodorants contain aluminium chlorohydrate, which has been implicated as increasing the risk factors for Alzheimers Disease and breast cancer. Deodorant Crystals are safe to use, containing only non-toxic minerals. They are the purest form of deodorant available today.
The Tawas Crystal is made up of 100% mineral salt: Potassium Alum, which is unable to penetrate the cell wall, because of its large molecular structure, and so it is not absorbed by the body and does not block the pores. Potassium Alum actually neutralises the bacteria which causes body odour when sweat comes into contact with the skin. When applied to wet skin, a thin layer of the Crystal is left behind, and is effective for up to 24 hours, or until washed away. I thought this was a tall claim when I first read it, but this has certainly been the case for me. This range of deodorants is totally natural and contain ONLY natural Alum crystal, nothing else is added or taken away:

To use it, simply leave your skin wet after washing, or wet the crystal and apply it to armpits or feet by rubbing a few times. The crystal will cover your skin with a microscopic protective film that eliminates odour-causing bacteria effectively until the next day.
Faith in Nature Deodorant Crystal uses a different mineral salt, Ammonium Alum, which is also very effective at deodorising and gentle on the skin.
