Cloth Nappy Trial Scheme
Cloth Nappies
Nappy Wraps
The cloth nappy trial scheme or hire scheme is a selection of reusable nappies, washed and used, guaranteed clean and hygienic, which you hire from me and use in your own home.
We stock a wide range of reusable nappies in various styles from a range of nappy manufacturers, and offer impartial advice if you find it hard to choose which reusable nappy is best for you.
The nappy wrap is the waterproof layer and, as such, is as important to the nappy system as the cloth nappy itself. However, you will only need 4-5 wraps in each size, as they don't need to be changed every time you change a nappy.

Baby Toys
Our wide range of useful reusable nappy accessories includes nappy liners, boosters, fasteners (pins or nippas), wet nappy bags, laundry mesh, reusable baby wipes and essential oils.
We also have vest extenders, and extenders for One Size nappies.

Organic essential oils, natural crystal deodorants, breast pads and environmentally friendly menstrual products. New to our range is a selection of Faith in Nature hair products, and Natracare sanitary care.

Browse our range of interesting toys, some wooden, some not, some traditional, others a new version on an old theme. Traditional wooden toys stand the test of time - or should that be the test of toddlers!

Reusable cloth nappies are easy to use, comfortable for baby, and cost effective. Choosing the best reusable nappies for you can seem confusing at first, however our aim at Plush Pants Cloth Nappies is to guide you through the process of choosing and using real cloth nappies. I hope you will find the website interesting and informative! You will find we have online information and advice pages about our reusable nappies, and I am available by phone (01865 408040) or e-mail (christine@plushpants.co.uk) 7 days a week for personal cloth nappy advice. Quick links to our main shopping areas are above, or use the menu to the left..

You don't need to choose a cloth nappy system of all one kind of cloth nappy - lots of us mix and match, so if you can't make a decision between two, three, or four different types - why not have a selection of all of them? That way, you'll always have a washable nappy to match your mood!

And if you're just considering a switch from disposables to reusable nappies and you're not sure about how it'll work out, well - don't buy a whole set: either hire some cloth nappies to try it out at home first (click here for details of our cloth nappy trial scheme), or just buy a couple of cloth nappies and a wrap or two to begin with, and see how you get on. You can always come back for more - but even if you don't, every time you use a cloth nappy, that will be one less disposable going into a landfill site!

Just a brief word about the colour of our washable nappies. Wherever possible, the cloth nappies I sell are made of unbleached cotton. This means they come in the natural, rich creamy colour of cotton straight from the loom. All cotton starts out this colour, and then some is bleached white. The reason I sell unbleached cotton nappies is that cotton is a very intensive crop to farm - it requires a lot of pesticides and fertilisers, and is usually farmed non-organically (although a range of organic cotton nappies is available). Buying unbleached cotton nappies means you have avoided an additional layer of chemical processing, and of attendant chemical waste and pollution. All my unbleached cloth nappies have eventually washed to white, which means that if you buy unbleached cloth nappies you will get white cloth nappies usually within a dozen washes!

I don't currently use agents, and hope that the "direct" approach will enable us to keep our cloth nappy prices as low as possible.
