Details

The Bambinex Bamboo Stretch is a two sized nappy, super absorbent, making it a great choice for night time or for heavy wetters.  You will need a separate wrap with this nappy.

Bambinex Bamboo Stretch nappies are made from lovely stretchy bamboo fibres, and feature elastic at the waist and legs for great containment and a superb fit.  The nappies are generous in the rise (length) making them a good option on taller children, and you'll notice the weight range is a little more generous than other brands, so they are particularly good for chunkier babies.

Two sizes are available:

  • Size 1 fits approx. 8lbs to 20lbs (some babies may need size 2 sooner than this)
  • Size 2 fits approx 20lbs to 44lbs (some babies may be able to use size 2 sooner)

The nappy comes with a pop in booster included.  You can detach this to give a slimmer fit if your baby is at the lower end of the weight range, and pop it back in if your baby needs the extra absorbency, or when they are heading to the upper end of the weight range.

This nappy can be used day or night, the bamboo fibre tends to stay nice and soft so is comfy to wear.  Many babies can use this overnight without the need for extra boosters, but if you do need them, we have plenty of booster options in our Essentials section.

Good wraps for this nappy are the Bambinex one size wrap, Thirsties Duo Wrap or Popolini Easywrap.

Fantastic nappy, my go to night nappy. Tried little lambs bamboo (which were too short in the body and took ages to dry) and tots bots bamboozle's (which seemed too wide between the legs and also took forever to dry) and the Bambinex Bamboo is so much better IMO. Great fit on my baby - who is tall and chubby! Super soft, super absorbent, so easy to use and great value. I cannot recommend them enough.
My only slight criticism is that the velco is not the strongest and the nappy could come undone with a lot of wriggling but the wrap stops this happening so it is not really a problem and it is so fab in every other way and so much better than any other night nappy I tried it really doesn't bother me.
I recommend everyone tries this!
I did not try the size ones but my LO was able to fit the size 2's from 14 pounds. (Posted on 12/09/2017)

I got a couple of these while on offer to add to our night time nappies. The absorbency matches the bamboozle and I feel they are less bulky when on so a much nicer fit. Size wise I think they are far longer which is great as there is plenty of room to grow. the only downfall of these nappies is their Velcro which is not very 'sticky' (I generally hate Velcro nappies so have converted mine to poppers but a nappy nipa would be a good alternative if you did find it looses its stick!) I bought these to top up my stash of night nappies. They stand up well against my bamboozle stretchies in terms of absorbency but are longer so a better fit for tall babies, plus they are a great price! (Posted on 16/08/2017)

My expectations from this nappy were high, and I was not disappointed.
We had a bunch of hand-me-down Bambinex teddy nappies (microfiber) for size 1 which I loved for their fantastic fit and quality. So one LO began to outgrow them, I decided to try this bamboo, which is at a bargain price.
Bamboo is so slow drying, which is a little frustrating, but that is the only fault of this nappy. Bambinex offer such a great fit (much better than bamboozle in my opinion) because the middle of the nappy is narrower and the hip rise higher. Because the rise is better, BF poos do not leak up the back (which is the case with other lower rise nappies), and the good containment does not come at the expanse of mobility and movement (which is a shortcoming of the bamboozle, I find). Our LO is heavy wetter, too, so I'm folding the added booster up front, and so the nappy can hold nicely for many hours. We used it overnight successfully, and during the day it held up for 4 hours with no leaks or discomfort.
I'm not sure I would endure the slow drying for the massive amount of nappies we needed for the first three months (Prefolds continue to be the best option for infants), but now that he's relaxing into baby-hood with 5-6 nappies a day, I'm making these bambinex my main nappy. I hope this is helpful! (Posted on 29/07/2017)
